James’s practice includes family law, employment law, and civil litigation matters. James joined the firm as an Associate in 2016 after articling with a prominent civil litigation firm in Toronto.
James obtained his law degree from Queen’s University and was called to the Ontario Bar in June 2016. While at Queen’s, James was very active in the local community, both as a Project Lead with Pro Bono Students Canada and as a Caseworker with the Queen’s Business Law Clinic. He also had the opportunity to compete in an international moot court competition, and study abroad at the school’s facility in East Sussex, England.
James completed his undergraduate studies at University of King’s College/Dalhousie University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Political Science and History.
